The Salvation Army Parade of Kettles on Display at Common Area by Forever 21

The Shops at La Cantera

Today: 1pm – 3pm

Join us on December 2, 9 and 16 as we showcase kettles decorated by local media groups.

Local Media Participants of The Salvation Army’s annual kettle decorating competition will have their finished product on display on Saturdays December 2, 9 and 16 (12 noon to 4 pm) at The Shops at La Cantera. The public is encouraged to come and view the kettles and drop change into their favorite kettle. The kettle that gets the most votes (monies) will be crowned Parade of Kettles Champion for a year.

The Parade of Kettles is a fun and interactive way for local businesses and individuals to help raise money for The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. Groups decorate their team kettle and raise funds in their office amongst their co-workers, visitors or customers. Some set up an online account to raise their money, while others prefer to hear the change drop into the kettle. Some even travel with their kettle to events or client meetings. Regardless of the method or who wins, all proceeds benefit The Salvation Army San Antonio Area Command. For more information on how to help The Salvation Army, please call (210) 352-2000
